Homicide Victim, 1997
On June 28, 1997, at 11:16 p.m., Baltimore County Police responded to 7006 Rudisill Court, 21244 in reference to a call for shots fired. Officers located 25-year-old Carlos Lamont Thomas to the rear of the location. Thomas had sustained a gunshot wound to the upper body. Thomas was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
It was learned that Thomas' girlfriend was in the apartment by herself when she heard noises on the rear balcony. Thomas's girlfriend contacted Thomas about the noises. Thomas returned home and went to the rear of the apartment building. Witnesses reported hearing Thomas yelling at someone to get down off of his balcony. Several shots were fired and three young black males were seen fleeing the area.
