Francis Scott Key Bridge Incident Updates

A building permit is required for all tanks.

Required Documents

You must provide the following when submitting your permit application.

  • Construction Plans—Signed and sealed drawing for buried tanks where manufacturer's instructions are different than install.
  • Site Plans—For installation only. (View the residential site plan for residential permit applications.)
  • For proposed propane tanks on properties served by well and septic systems - A Contractor Certification must be signed and submitted with the plumbing permit application.
  • If removing a tank—Letter for Ground Water Management
  • If located in a floodplain—Flood Plain Determination Form
  • If tank is underground or over 260 gallons—Manufacturer's Instructions required onsite
