The following duties are the responsibility of the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council (CJCC):
- Study the Baltimore County juvenile and criminal justice systems, identify deficiencies, and formulate policy, plans and programs for improvement
- Communicate and present planning, financial, operational, managerial and programmatic recommendations to the agencies represented on the Council
- Provide the coordinated leadership necessary to establish cohesive criminal justice strategies, policies and programs
- Collaborate to maximize resources and raise funds to support criminal justice programs
The CJCC provides coordinated leadership for the Human Trafficking Work Group:
- To establish cohesive criminal justice strategies, policies and programs
- Identifies deficiencies
- Formulates policy, plans and programs for improvement
- Collaborate to maximize resources and raise funds to support criminal justice programs
Meetings
Board meetings are held the second Tuesday of every other month at 8 a.m. All meetings are open to the public unless noted as a closed meeting. The final minutes for each meeting will be posted following approval.
