The park offers a variety of recreational activities that are open to the public year round, including:

  • Diverse habitats—The forest, the field, the stream, the meadow

  • Hiking trails
  • History—The park was an active iron-ore and marble mining operation during the mid-19th century. Visitors can enjoy:
    • Exhibits on natural history can be found along the trails
    • Historical displays
    • Learning about the past through mining town remains
    • Several interpretive displays

  • Pavilions—Three pavilions are available for rent.

Park Rules

  • Dogs must be leashed at all times. Please be courteous and responsible by cleaning up after your pet.
  • Bikes and horses are not permitted.
