Alcohol Beverage License Book
The Alcohol Beverage License Book lists all licenses issued in Baltimore County. The license year is from May 1 through April 30 of the following year.
Outdoor Dining Service—Notice To Licensees
All previously approved tents were limited by their 180-day temporary permit. To comply with building codes, tents should be removed from premises before winter unless specifically approved for snow loads.
There should be no outdoor dining areas in existing parking lots unless first approved by this Board and approval from the Zoning Office relating to reduction of parking.
Growlers (Refillable Container Permit)
House Bill 208 (Growlers Legislation) allows holders of Class A, B and D Licenses to hold a refillable container permit to sell draft beer for consumption off the licensed premises in certain refillable containers with a capacity of not less than 32 ounces and not more than 128 ounces, and that meets the standards under Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland, Section 21-107 (2013 supplement).
Trade Practice Prohibition—"Free Alcohol"
Licensees are prohibited from offering "free alcohol" promotions in a letter to Licensees from the Chief Administrator.
Liquor License Task Force
The Liquor License Task Force (LLTF) was created to look into the need for liquor licenses to support the expansion of the restaurant sector of Baltimore County's economy.
