Councilman David Marks
It is an honor to represent Baltimore County’s Eastside, which stretches from Kingsville, Perry Hall, and Carney through White Marsh to the beautiful Middle River waterfront.
My goal is to provide bipartisan, independent leadership for these neighborhoods on the County Council. I will always try to find common ground on issues that come before the County Council, but never hesitate to be an independent voice on matters of conscience or good government.
My priorities are very clear.
We’ve championed public safety by supporting our police and firefighters.
We’ve preserved open space by advancing more than a dozen new parks.
We’ve supported better schools and stronger neighborhoods. As a special educator and parent, I know the importance of good classrooms, which is why I pushed for the new Nottingham Middle School, a renovated Pine Grove Middle, and additional elementary schools in Perry Hall and Rossville.
And finally, we’ve worked to reform government by making government more open and efficient. I’m proud to have never voted for a property or income tax increase, and to have voted to cut more funding from county budgets than any other Councilmember in history.
I will always welcome your suggestions and comments on business that comes before the County Council. Our office is also prepared to help with concerns you may have, from potholes to public safety. Our team is ready to serve you.
Proudly Representing Baltimore County’s Eastside
