Charter Review Commission

At the general election of November 8, 2016, County voters approved the creation of the decennial Charter Review Commission to periodically study and review the County’s Charter. The Commission reported its findings and recommendations to the County Council and County Executive in October of 2017.

Commission Members

There are 11 members on the Commission. Two are appointed by the County Executive and eight were appointed by the County Council and the County Attorney serves as the ex officio. All members must be residents of Baltimore County.
